Our Process

INITIAL MEETING

This is our introduction to the project and where we “interview” each other, finding out how you plan to use your garden and generating your wish list. This meeting will result in a written proposal defining the scope of our work.

Phase One:  PRELIMINARY LANDSCAPE DESIGN

After an initial design meeting, we prepare a full-color Preliminary Master Landscape Plan for the design concept phase of your project. If applicable, we begin work with your HOA, City, County Agencies, and Contractors, and generate a Preliminary project cost.

Phase Two:  WORKING DRAWINGS

A Working Drawing is a highly detailed electronic -based drawing that provides documents to the General Contractor and/or Contractors for bidding and building purposes. Items that are often included are hardscape layout, pool design, detailed planting plan, irrigation plan, lighting, electrical and drainage concepts. During this phase we will assist you in selecting construction materials, colors, pool finishes, tile, and anything else you may need to complete the project. During this phase a plant palette will be shown to the client for input and approval.

Phase Three:  CONSTRUCTION SITE OBSERVATION

Frequent visits to the project throughout the process to help interpret the drawings for both you and the contractors. Pottery, fabrics, furniture, and accessories are selected for the final touches of this phase.
